General Description:

 

The Lotus Notes/Domino developer (Intermediate) requires hands on experience with Lotus Domino 8.0 database development.  Lotus Domino 8.0 is used in conjunction with design programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Dreamweaver, or XPages to create secure and unsecure web based applications.  Work with Army officials to define requirements and create easy-to-use applications.  Domino Developers are responsible for developing code for multiple concurrent applications to meet all client requirements to include design, research, and problem-solving.

 

 

Requirements:

 

•     4 years application development experience with Lotus Notes Domino

•     4 years experience operating Web based applications

•     Hands on experience of latest web technologies (XML, JSON, AJAX)

•     4 years of experience with Dreamweaver and Java Script and creating and using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)

•     4 years of experience with Domino security to include access control lists

•     4 years of experience in developing applications involving large numbers of documents without affecting application performance

•     Certified Lotus Professional or equivalent work experience

•     Knowledge of IBM FileNet a plus

 

 

Functional Responsibility:

 

•     Good documentation experience

•     Good problem solving skills

•     Attention to detail and continuous quality improvement

•     Excellent user interface skills

•     Self starter and ability to work as part of team  

 

This position requires an individual to be detail oriented and highly organized, with the ability to develop an effective working relationship with the operations’ staff.

I am brand new to Lotus Notes / Domino, but have been tasked with solving a technical problem. We recently migrated our email application from Novell Groupwise to Microsoft Outlook 365 (in the cloud). We have run into problems and made some changes. Olympic mountain bike course changed

London 2012 organisers have announced changes to the Olympic mountain bike course, after feedback from competitors in last year's test event, the BBC said here on Wednesday.
