On Tuesday I was in > Olpe (Germany) to a workshop of the > Open-Xchange Hosting Edition (OX HE). Open-Xchange is a groupware system which is running on a Linux operating system. It provides a collaboration suite with email, calendar, contacts, tasks, bookmarks and an info store. The frontend of the OX HE is the same as for the > OX Express Edition. Both frontends look like a modern AJAX-based frontend. The architecture has changed basically compared to the version 5 and makes a solid and thought-out impression. In the workshop we have installed a OX HE server in a VMWare session with a > Debian operating system. If you want to take a look to the user interface you can do it in the > PAVONE Solution Center or on the > Open-Xchange website. Both websites allows it without registration.
