Since some weeks we work on a new version of the > PAVONE NewsReader application. The next version of this > IBM Lotus Notes-based Atom/RSS reader will contains a sidebar plugin to display the news. Further you can use the plugin in an > IBM Sametime client (7.5.1 or above). The main advantage of this plugin compared to the standard > Feed Reader in IBM Lotus Notes 8 is that the news come from the NewsReader application (database) and not from the feed sites. This means the NewsReader application collects all news from the feed sites and the sidebar plugin collects the news from the NewsReader application. This approach has several advantages if you use a feed reader in a company. For example, less trafic, since the news will be collected only one time from the feed sites.
