RIM Introduces the BlackBerry Bold Smartphone

The new BlackBerry Bold smartphone from Research In Motion is the first BlackBerry smartphone to support high-speed HSDPA networks and comes with integrated GPS, Wi-Fi and a rich set of multi-media features.

Nice device, pretty fast, the browser is a huge improvement. I'm playing with the Bold at the WES in Orlando.
A "on-the-go web browsing experience with desktop-style depiction" with half-VGA resolution? I don't know.....
Me neither. But half-VGA is what the iPhone uses.
.. on which subject, a good discussion about the future of the iPhone vs other 3G devices has just been sparked on the BBC technology blog...
Could they be more vague about availiblity?
